We continue to strive for our theme of “the Fastest Apps Ever.” We’d love to hear your feedback, and hope we can work together to make better, more engaging apps,
Your “boyfriend app doesn’t work, it just cycles round and round from pressing the app to choosing a number to pressing the app…etc
At no time does it actually dial, at the moment it is just a useless link to your contacts.
An app I think which would have great utility for people is a Calling card feature. This is a feature in high end symbian phones like the P990. Basically you open it, select a calling card to use, then select a contact to call and it calls the calling card first, pauses a few seconds then calls the contact’s number. Easy and with the iphone’s now global reach it should sell well with volume. While most Americans call nationally for free or in-plan, international calls and callers outside the U.S. will love this app.
I’m having problems with Mayday on my iPhone 3G. It is cycling through several cities in the area, about 1 per second, and displaying new results every time based on the new city it finds. I was under the impression that this could get a fix on my GPS signal, so there shouldn’t be any need for it to go through several surrounding cities. Furthermore, there doesn’t seem to be any meaningful sorting in the lists. I think it makes sense to have the list sorted with the closest police stations first.
